Q. What are Floating, Living, Memory Lockets?

A. These magnetic glass lockets originated within the USA and are still fairly new in the UK.  They are made from toughened glass centres (back and front) with a metal outer casing.  our magnetic locket opens via a ridge, normally at the side of the locket, which you can get your fingers into to open the locket.  Strong magnets have been manufactured around the inner metal casing edges keeping contents such as backplates and charms securely inside the locket when closed.  We also have a range of screw twist lockets which can be easily opened via unscrewing.

You are able to create a complete locket or buy individual items to add to your existing locket. 

For any custom photo items, there is an option to upload your photos and add any special requirements within the basket section, after adding your item.

 

Q. How big are the floating lockets?

A. Our lockets are available in 5 sizes for round lockets.  33mm XLarge, 30mm large, 28mm Midi, 25mm medium and 20mm small.  We also sell heart shaped, oval and teardrop lockets.  The sizes of all lockets are stated in each product page.

 

Q. How big are the floating charms?

A. Charms can vary in size between 4mm - 13mm and you can fit approx 7 - 11 charms inside an xlarge locket,  7-9 charms inside a large round locket,  5-7 inside a midi sized round locket,  4-6 charms inside a medium round locket and 1-3 charms inside a mini sized locket.

 

Q. What are Ashes Lockets?

A.  Ashes lockets are beautiful cremation urn pendants to place your loved ones ashes inside. Each ashes locket comes complete with funnel and instructions.

 

Q. What are Harmony Lockets?

A.  Harmony lockets project beautiful chimes to help soothe an unborn baby during pregnancy.  They are usually worn long and rest on baby bump.  Once the baby is born, the chain is then changed to a shorter chain to keep baby occupied when feeding.

 

Q. What are your lockets made from?

A. We have over 10 years combined experience in the jewellery trade and we only source high quality materials to ensure the longevity of your keepsakes.  Our suppliers have been specially sourced by us and they have longstanding experience and a high reputation in their field.  We ensure quality is met before listing any products on pendiquelockets.co.uk  Our floating lockets and ashes lockets are made from premium 316 surgical stainless steel with all lockets being nickel and lead free and above UK standards.   Our Harmony lockets and other jewellery pieces are made from either 925 Sterling Silver or fpure metals such as carat gold.  Sometimes quality plating is used on tp of our base metals using a technique referred to as PVD (physical vapour deposition) or ION plating that produces a more durable coat.  Floating lockets have a magnetic or screw fastening, ashes lockets have screw fastenings and harmony lockets have a latch fastening.  Stainless Steel lockets will not rust or tarnish..

 

Q. What are your policies on returns and exchanges?

A. We have a fantastic FREE 60 day manufacturer warranty,  so you can have peace of mind that you are covered if such problems arise including breakages, damage in transit, missing stones, production faults and we also have a FREE 30 day no quibble returns or exchange policy for non custom items if you choose to simply change your mind.  The warranty starts on the day your order is delivered to you.

 

Q. What are your delivery timescales?

A. We aim to dispatch non custom orders within 24 hours Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and weekends.  Custom made orders have various production timescales.  You will find delivery timescales within the DELIVERY section of each product.

Q. Is your jewellery pieces child proof?

A. As with any jewellery, we would advise not to give a piece of jewellery to children under the age of 3 years old due to possible choking hazard or small parts.  Advisories state that all children under the age of 18 must be supervised by an adult whilst wearing jewellery.

  

Q. Do you have a gift wrapping service?

A.  All of our jewellery pieces comes packaged inside either our presentation gift pouches or are gift boxed.
